Just curious. Did you set it up based on the existing 'rads' of an item or how long it has been sitting out? Er...if it is sitting in a radiation dump does that make a difference?
This is a great idea. I've noticed that some items last longer then others (ie transmitter and vacpack). By last longer, I mean more then one maint, which appears to be the current decay rate. Anyways, I'd like to see variable decay rates for items too. IE food decays faster then transmitters....or thumpers which never decay (ok well eventually they can...but since nukem doesn't melt them instantly, they'd obviously decay slower).
The decay is a *really* simple timer system. I certainly could add some complexity to it, but I'm going to get the bases and a few other things completed before I add little stuff like that.
