Lately, whenever I tried to connect to the OOIS server, l'm unable to!  Sad  I need to venture out into the wastelands!  I can't handle being inside this long Wink

FYI I talked to Tarix about this a while ago (two weeks?) & he said that getting ready for E3 http://www.e3expo.com/ was keeping him busy, so hopefully when that's over (the 14th is the last day I think) he'll get a chance to look at the OOIS beta server!

It was actually accepting connections for a while on Monday or Tuesday of last week, but then went back to the old "Connection Refused" response.

I figured that it had more to do with the computer/service provider than the actual OOIS.  We'll see...

The OOIS is on the same IP as this website/forums, so I don't think it's the computer or server provider.   Besides I remember Tarix saying something about linux exception handling in OOIS not working right.

On a side note, looks like a lot of cool stuff went on @ E3...alienware's new comp looked awesome!  Dual GPUs is just want my UT2004/Doom3 machine needs Smiley

After much arm twisting the server is back up! Wink Tarix says he's very busy for the next few weeks & that we won't see a new build for a while yet (but maybe some bug fixes).  In the meantime at least we can play on the current build!

Always track me down via IM or email when stuff like this happens.  I do get busy, but it usually only takes 5-10 minutes to fix things.

Hopefully I'll have some freetime near the end of the summer, but for right now things remain crazy.

Thanks for keeping the testing going!  Whenever I do get some time again I should be able to whip through a lot of the bugs pretty quickly.
